Welcome to Kindergarten! This blog was created for you and your child to share all the wonderful books, stories and events that you experience over the summer. I will also be posting books that I read as well, and where I am reading them. I hope that you and your child will join in on the fun. This is a great way to make connections with others in Kindergarten as well as help promote the love of reading!
Hello Mrs. D! I am Sabrina. Tonight I read "Over in the Dessert" with my Daddy. I like this book very much because it is about lots of animals. I like it also because every page has a hidden number you need to find. I also like it because I like the colors and because I like reading very much! That's all that I like in this book that I read.
Hi Sabrina! It is great to hear about what you are reading. I like books with animals in them too? Have you ever read any books by Eric Carle? He draws lots of animals in his books and uses lots of brights colors to make them. Keep Reading! See you soon!

ReplyDeleteGood bye for now
Oops, the name of the book is actually "Way out in the Desert" by Jennifer Ward. She has a great collection of books.

ReplyDeleteHi all,
ReplyDeleteMy Mommy used to read "The very hungry caterpillar" to me when I was little...
We will be reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar in Kindergarten!
